Arc Raiders Live Update 1.42.0 — Snitch Reinforcements & Photoelectric Cloak Fix
Patch 1.42.0 ships no new weapons or maps, but reworks how the Snitch calls for backup. It can now bring in a Rocketeer, or a Firefly and Hornet duo, on top of its usual Wasp/Hornet response. Queen and Matriarch stomp attacks no longer hit through walls or from excessive range, the Photoelectric Cloak now blocks Turbine lightning and Matriarch missiles, and Map Conditions now schedule around regional peak hours instead of a single global clock.
Gameplay Changes
Snitch Can Call In a Rocketeer, or a Firefly and Hornet Duo
On top of its usual backup of 2 Wasps and 1 Hornet, the Snitch can now call in a Rocketeer, or a Firefly and Hornet duo, when it spots you. Kill it on sight before it alerts anything. It's more important than ever in stealth situations.
Queen & Matriarch Stomp Range/Wall Fix
Fixed stomp attacks from the Queen and Matriarch hitting through walls or from excessive distances.
Photoelectric Cloak Now Blocks Turbine Lightning & Matriarch Missiles
The Photoelectric Cloak now works against ARC Turbine lightning attacks and Matriarch missiles, in addition to its existing effects.
Surge Coil Trap Spawn Protection
The Surge Coil Trap now has spawn protection, preventing it from affecting players who just spawned.
Quick Wheel Slots Are Rebindable
Quick Wheel slots can now be rebound to your preference.
Practice Range Damage Fixed for Dolabra, Hullcracker & Rascal
The Dolabra, Hullcracker, and Rascal now deal correct damage against training dummies in the Practice Range.

Anti-Cheat & Fair Play
Embark reiterated it's investigating third-party software reports and warned against the security risks of cheat software. Recent work with Anybrain and Denuvo Anti-Cheat has resulted in sanctions against numerous cheating accounts, with ongoing efforts targeting economy exploits, permanent bans for serial cheaters, and matchmaking/teaming abuse.
