Arc Raiders 5th Expedition
For the first time, quest progress reset is opt-in: you can choose to keep your quest progress instead of losing it when you depart. The departure window is also extended from two weeks to three, running September 8-29, 2026. This is the last Expedition before Embark pauses the system until early 2027 for a larger overhaul.

Permanent Bonuses
- Buff +12 additional stash space, capped at 60 total
- Buff Up to 15 bonus Skill Points, with catch-up mechanics for players who missed prior Expeditions
Consecutive Expedition Buffs
Consecutive buffs (XP boost, materials boost, and repair value) cap out at three levels, same as prior Expeditions.
Important: Existing consecutive buffs will persist through the pause after this Expedition. Any partial Caravan progress at the time of the pause converts to Ermal Vouchers.

Last Expedition Before the Pause
Embark says "bigger changes" are needed to address player concerns about accessibility and the reward structure. The 5th Expedition is the last one before Expeditions go on hold until early 2027 for that overhaul.
Related Patches
The Expedition itself went live with Live Update 1.45.0, which also made quest resets opt-in on departure. Update 1.47.0 confirmed the September 29 cutoff (10:00 CEST) and asked anyone who cannot confirm their sign-up on the Departure screen to contact Embark support right away.
The 1.42.0 patch shipped shortly before this Expedition: Snitch reinforcement changes, a Photoelectric Cloak buff against Turbine lightning and Matriarch missiles, and a Queen/Matriarch stomp fix.
